We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Procurement Buyer to join our Procurement Team on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday, with hybrid working arrangements.
Working in partnership with the Head of Procurement, Strategic Procurement Business Partners, and the wider Organisation, you will provide specialist procurement support to ensure the best use of donor money for our services.
What you’ll bring to the role:
- Proven experience in tactical procurement, including managing RFQ and RFT processes.
- Track record of delivering best value and cashable savings through procurement activities.
- Experience working effectively in cross-functional teams with diverse objectives.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure, handling high volumes of work with tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of purchasing strategies, contract law, legal terminology, and relevant legislation (e.g., GDPR, Modern Slavery).
